This hidden village in Xinyang, Henan Province really has the gentleness of the northern country and the south of the Yangtze River.

There are green trees in front of and behind the house, and century-old trees cast shadows on the water.

Xihe Dawan Ancient Village was built in the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasties.
With a history of 800 years, there are many strange trees and rocks on both sides of the river, many of which are over 400 years old. The century-old maple poplar in front of the Zhang Family Ancestral Hall is even more unique.

Gray walls and blue tiles, surrounded by mountains and rivers, and carved window lattice, are all traces of time.

The main reason for recommendation is that it is currently not commercialized and is very suitable for taking children on weekends. During the day, you can go down to the river along the mossy stone steps, cross the river on the stones, and play in the water with a fishing net. Staying in an ancient village at night, falling asleep to the sound of running water, and waking up to the sound of birdsong in the morning is a unique experience.
