Qing Yongling is the mausoleum of Nurhaci's ancestors, including his sixth-generation ancestor Mengtemu (孟特穆), great-grandfather Fuman (福满), grandfather Juechang'an (觉昌安), father Takexi (塔克世), uncle Lidun (礼敦), and uncle Tachapiangu (塔察偏古). It is recognized as the burial site of the Qing dynasty's imperial ancestors and has been designated as a National Key Cultural Relic Protection Unit. In 2003, it was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with Zhaoling (昭陵) and Fuling (福陵) in Shenyang.

Yongling is located 1 km northwest of Yongling Town, with Suzi River (苏子河) in front and Qiyun Mountain (启运山) behind. Covering an area of 10,000 square meters, it is a well-preserved ancient imperial mausoleum complex with a relatively large scale and complete structure. Visitors can experience the excellent traditions of ancient architecture and the artistic style of the Manchu people. Yongling is the first Qing dynasty mausoleum, originally built in the 26th year of the Ming Wanli era (1598) under the name Xingjingling (兴京陵). It was renamed Yongling in the 16th year of the Shunzhi era (1659).
