Xinchang Daotuoxue Hiking

Daotuoxue in Xinchang has been the filming location for many martial arts dramas, such as "Swordsman" and "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils." The trail is surrounded by lush mountains and clear waters, and the air is fresh and pleasant, making you feel like you are in a natural oxygen bar. The canyon is deep and quiet, with strange rocks and unique landforms that make you marvel at the wonders of nature. Although the climb is challenging, the sense of accomplishment you feel when you reach the top and overlook the beautiful scenery is worth it. Hiking Guide

- Transportation: You can drive to Daotuoxue Parking Lot, which is convenient for parking.
- Route: Start from the parking lot and follow the trail. The first section is a gentle mountain road, and then the slope gradually becomes steeper. Pay attention to the signs along the way and follow the main road to reach the core scenic spot, Daotuoxue. The whole journey is about 3–4 km and takes 2–3 hours.
- Equipment: Wear comfortable sports shoes and bring an appropriate amount of water and energy snacks, such as chocolate and nuts. You can also prepare trekking poles to help with climbing.
- Best Time: Spring and autumn are the best seasons for hiking, as the weather is pleasant and the scenery is more beautiful.
