The first city outside the Great Wall, the charming Huludao

Huludao, a coastal city in the southwest of Northeast China, is relatively small, but it has a long cultural history and rich natural resources. Xingcheng City, which is adjacent to Huludao, is very close. I stayed here for a total of three days and two nights. I was deeply attracted by the beautiful local scenery and affordable prices. I just want to say that I will come again next time.

Day 1:

In Xingcheng, there are many beaches and they are all free🆓. On the first day, I chose to stay in Xingcheng City. The attractions here are not far from each other, and the taxi fare is cheap🚕. You can visit many places in one day.
Day 2:

• 🌴Red Beach
• 🌌Lianshan Night Market

Watching the sunrise is an essential activity when you come to a seaside city🌅. The sunrise at Longhuitou is very beautiful and spectacular. Although Lingyun Morning Market is not big, it has a complete range of products and the prices are cheap🤑. The Maritime Art Museum at Red Beach is the most artistic place in Xingcheng City. It houses a ship exhibition and an art exhibition by artist Tong Zhengang. Coffee is also sold on the rooftop☕. In the evening, you can go to the famous Lianshan Night Market and Xinggong Middle Street Night Market in Huludao City, but probably because it is the off-season, there are not many stalls open.
Day 3:

I really like the atmosphere of the International Peace Square🤩, so I specially found a day to watch the sunrise, and the result was super amazing. Longwan Beach is adjacent to the International Peace Plaza and can be reached on foot. Wanghai Temple is the only temple built on the seaside. The beach is also beautiful, and you need to climb a short mountain. Bikini Plaza was the last beach I visited, and maybe because I had already seen the beauty of other beaches before, this one didn’t seem that interesting in comparison. Hulu Ancient Town is a very interesting folk culture park where you can learn about Kanto culture. The snacks here are also very delicious😋.
✅ps: I walked back a lot on the third day because I stayed in Xingcheng for the past two days. I went back to the hotel from Wanghai Temple to pick up my luggage before setting off again. It is recommended that friends who want to visit Huludao and Xingcheng can arrange one day of accommodation in each place to avoid running back and forth like me🚶🚶.
