Zhaojun Village

Visit Zhaojun Ancient Village in Hubei. Originally named Baoping Village, it is located in the southern suburbs of Xingshan County, Hubei. It is named after Wang Zhaojun, known as one of the Four Beauties of ancient China from the Western Han Dynasty, who grew up here. Zhaojun Village is situated by the Xiangxi River, with a core scenic area of 3.5 square kilometers and a total area of about 700 mu. Zhaojun Village not only showcases the relics and sites related to Wang Zhaojun but also preserves well-maintained ancient Han natural ecological landscapes. The village features unique and rich local culture from Zhaojun’s hometown as well as Han Dynasty court lady culture, and it is one of the first national AAA-level tourist attractions.
