#chinatravel Just got back from exploring Kanas Lake and Hemu Village in Xinjiang, and honestly, it was like stepping into a fairytale. Kanas is this insane turquoise lake surrounded by lush forests and towering mountains, it’s seriously postcard perfect. The water is so clear and calm, it feels like nature’s own mirror.
Then there’s Hemu Village, this super cute, old school spot with wooden houses, winding paths, and friendly locals who keep the traditional vibe alive. Walking through the village feels like taking a chill trip back in time, with those rustic houses and beautiful natural scenery everywhere you look.
Both places are pretty peaceful, especially if you visit outside peak season, so you can really soak in the fresh air and stunning views without the crowds. If you’re down for some epic nature and cultural vibes in Xinjiang, Kanas and Hemu Village are a total must see. Just bring your camera and comfy shoes, adventure awaits!
