|Check in at historical attractions. Jiangzhou Three Towers refers to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Music Tower. It is located on the high wall in the west of Xinjiang County, Yuncheng, Shanxi Province. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were many city towers in the prefecture and county towns, commonly known as Drum Towers. Only the three towers of Jiangzhou stand side by side, arranged in a north-south pattern, with the Bell Tower in the south, the Music Tower in the east, and the Drum Tower in the north.
[The Bell Tower] was built in the Northern Song Dynasty and was rebuilt in the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. It is now a relic of the Ming Dynasty. Inside the tower hangs a 10,000-jin iron bell, which was cast in the third year of Jin Tiande (1151). It is the heaviest and oldest bell in the country.
[The Music Tower] is a relic of the Ming Dynasty and was repaired in 1983. It has two floors, five rooms wide, and two rooms deep.
[The Drum Tower] was built in the Zhizheng period of the Yuan Dynasty. The existing wooden structure is a relic of the Ming Dynasty. It was repaired and painted in 1994.
