A while ago, I visited Xinshi Ancient Town, also known as Xiantan, which dates back to AD 308. Known for its well-preserved Ming and Qing Dynasty architecture, this town offers a rich historical atmosphere.

Strolling through the charming old buildings of the Ming and Qing Residential Group and exploring the tranquil Juehai Temple was a peaceful experience. Crossing the ancient bridges provided unique views of Jiangnan's water towns.

The free entry and leisurely boat rides added to the enjoyment. Xinshi Ancient Town's historical and picturesque charm left a lasting impression. I highly recommend visiting to soak in its timeless beauty.
