This is one of the few temples in the country with the word "Guo" in its name.

Guo'en Temple, the hometown of Zen Buddhism, also known as Longshan Temple, is located at the foot of Longshan Mountain in Liuzu Town, Xinxing County. It was founded by the Sixth Patriarch Huineng and built in the Tang Dynasty. It is the place where the Sixth Patriarch Huineng promoted Taoism and passed away.

The right place to pray for New Year's blessings. Walking up from the first archway, you will see the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Main Hall and the Hall of the Sixth Patriarch. On both sides are the Ksitigarbha Hall, the Bodhidharma Hall and other halls, and there is also a tower called Baoen Pagoda standing in the side courtyard.

Incense is free, 3 sticks per person, and there are free incense sticks outside each hall.

The prayer wheel must be turned clockwise three times, so that everything will go smoothly and smoothly‼ ️

Next to the prayer wheel is the turtle release pond. You can buy two bags of fish food to feed the fish. There are not only various goldfish, but also many released turtles and several geese.

Behind Guo'en Temple is Longtan Lake Wetland Park. You can go there after visiting Guo'en Temple. There is a large lawn, which is very suitable for taking a walk, relaxing and basking in the sun.
