Xinyang Bolden Forest Camp Debuts

Xinyang Bolden Forest Camp has been newly unveiled! Bolden Forest Park is located within the Lijiazai Experimental Area of the Jigongshan Nature Reserve in Xinyang. It is named after the British forester Bolden and others who established a forest farm here in 1918. The park is a comprehensive scenic area integrating leisure vacation, scientific research, and sightseeing. Here, you can experience the tranquility of a century-old forest along with the vibrant charm of wildlife. The North American bald cypress introduced by Mr. Bolden in 1917 has formed a lush bald cypress forest. The park still preserves the introduction base, the former offices of Bolden and Han An, as well as the London plane tree personally planted by General Feng Yuxiang. The scenic area features many attractions, including the Bolden Memorial Forest, Ming Lake, and Han An Memorial Hall. Visitors can stroll through the forest, feel the blend of nature and history, and enjoy a relaxing and pleasant time.
