Xuzhou Maling Mountain | You still have to go to the mountains to escape the summer heat and breathe oxygen

Xuzhou Xinyi, a small city in northern Jiangsu, has the beautiful natural scenery of Maling Mountain. Although Maling Mountain is not as tall as Nanjing's Purple Mountain, it is lush and green, with rugged rocks, overlapping peaks, and mist rising from the mountains, like a fairyland, suitable for friends who enjoy nature healing and hiking.

Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty made six southern tours and visited this mountain three times. He wrote the poem "The long road is full of rugged rocks, which already show the beauty of rivers and mountains", which vividly praised the beauty of Maling Mountain and named it "the best river and mountain".

🌈Attractions Introduction
1️⃣ Shanyin Temple
Also known as Shoujing Temple, it is the earliest and most magnificent ancient temple in Maling Mountain Scenic Area, dating back more than 700 years.
2️⃣ Sanxian Cave
According to legend, there were three immortals, a snake, a crab and a toad, living in the cave, so it was called "Three Immortals Cave". Pu Songling, a writer in the Qing Dynasty, created the story of "Three Immortals" based on this and included it in "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio".
3️⃣ Sanxian Lake
It is also known as Fairy Pool and Fairy Lake. Surrounded by flowers and trees, and strange rocks, the pool water is winding, the waves are shimmering, and it is quiet and charming. Legend has it that every time fairies visited Maling Mountain, they would take off their fairy clothes and wash themselves in the pond before returning to heaven.
4️⃣The Subei Battle Memorial Pavilion is 19.46 meters high, symbolizing the year 1946. In front of the pavilion, a stone statue of Marshal Chen Yi was built, and the text in front of the stele was written by General Zhang Zhen: "Suxi Battle Memorial Monument".
5️⃣Soldier Cave
Located on the north side of the main peak Wuhuading. The cave is warm in winter and cool in summer. It winds its way all the way to Yeju Valley. It was dug by a certain engineering unit in 1967 and took four years to complete. It is used as a military air-raid shelter.
6️⃣Xiaolonggou
A popular check-in spot, with fairy air lingering around the plank road, as if entering a dream, and many large and small waterfalls along the way
7️⃣ Xiaolong Waterfall
A favorite place, the very popular waterfall is here, very shocking
8️⃣ Dragon Terrace
The place where Emperor Qianlong received the people who came to welcome him, there are statues of Qianlong and two ministers who received him, and a golden dragon head that sprays water.
9️⃣ Maling Ancient Trail
During the Warring States Period, Sun Bin defeated his old classmate Pang Juan. There is a giant sculpture recreating the war.
