The famous pork cutlet from Mie Prefecture, Japan, can now be found in Taiwan!

A renowned pork cutlet brand from Mie Prefecture, Japan, has arrived in Taiwan.

"KatsuQ," the renowned pork cutlet donburi brand from the Daimu Group in Mie Prefecture, Japan, is now available in Taiwan!
The newly upgraded restaurant, "Katsudonya Katsukyu," officially opened at Uni-President Dream Plaza at the end of July.

Unlike traditional katsudon bowls served in the back of the house, this restaurant features itachi seating and an open kitchen, allowing guests to watch the chef fry the pork cutlets up close and enjoy the aroma and sounds of the cooking process. Furthermore, the shorter serving distance ensures the katsudon bowl is served at the perfect temperature and texture.

From water to main course, a refined dining experience awaits.

Upon arrival, the wait staff will serve Taiwan's first bottle of hot spring water. This pure, sweet water originates from a rock formation 1,500 meters below Puli. It has been awarded the ITQI International Flavor Award. I initially thought it was limited, so I sipped on it.

I later discovered it was all-you-can-drink.

I missed the opportunity to enjoy a few more drinks, which was a real shame.

This time, we ordered the September limited-edition "Premium Soft-Shell Crab Surf and Turf Donburi" and the "Grass Prawn Loin Pork Cutlet Set Meal."

The former combines loin pork cutlet, a whole crispy soft-shell crab, and golden shrimp fillet.

The bowl arrives overflowing with ingredients, completely covering the rim.

The smooth omelet adds a touch of flavor.

This egg, specially sourced from Pingtung Dawushan Ranch, is raw-grade.

It's rich and flavorless, making it excellent on its own or with fried dishes.

As for the Grass Prawn Loin Pork Cutlet Set Meal,

in addition to the main course, it also comes with soup and chawanmushi.

The generous portions, delicate flavor, and excellent value are excellent.

Experience the details of high-end Japanese cuisine: Special salts and diverse ways to enjoy them.

At #Shōkyū, you can enjoy not only the standard katsu sauce, yuzu pepper, and wasabi, but also two special salts:

Bamboo salt from the mountains of Taiwan, roasted in bamboo tubes at high temperatures, has a unique mineral aroma;

Frost salt, sun-dried in Chiayi cloth bags, offers a warm and elegant flavor.

These salts enhance the depth of the pork cutlet's juiciness and bring out the delicate flavors that only high-end Japanese cuisine can offer.

Taiwan already boasts two popular brands, "Iseji-Katsuse" and "Shizuoka Katsumasa."

Now with the addition of "Katsudonya Katsukyū,"

katsudon lovers have a new destination worth visiting! ❤ Have dinner at Katsudonya Katsukyū.
