Small business in Xinzhuang

#Xinzhuang Food #Small Business Xinzhuang Branch

This small business, newly opened this year, is famous for its pork rib fried rice and red oil wonton. It turns out the chef also came from Din Tai Fung 🥳

There are dining instructions at the entrance. Insiders pick up a menu and are seated. You can pay at the counter after placing your order. Dishes and other items are self-service.

The menu has a wide selection, including wraps, fried pancakes, fried rice, dry noodles, noodle soups, soups, à la carte dishes, and side dishes.

Today, I ordered red oil wonton noodles, spicy fried pancakes, fried pork ribs, and tomato egg drop soup!

The fried pork ribs are almost always on the menu. The ribs here are delicious and juicy, but unfortunately not crispy enough 🥹
The owner says they're inferior to Si Mu Xin Fu in texture, and his current favorite is still the ribs at Yi Ding 🥰

The red oil wonton noodles were better than expected. The thin noodles were chewy and the seasoning was slightly sweet and refreshing, very satisfying. The wontons were also better than Si Mu Xin Fu!

The spicy pancakes were seasoned with a slightly sweet flavor, but the spiciness wasn't overt.
The vegetables were crisp and delicious, making them a great accompaniment. It's a bit like moo shu pancakes.

Overall, it was quite good. I'll be back to try the fried rice.

It's usually fully booked on holidays. I just happened to get in for the second round and didn't get to wait. ✌️
