Visiting the Zama Sunflower Field in Kanagawa during summer is absolutely worth it! The vast sea of golden flowers is truly breathtaking, with over 500,000 sunflowers blooming. Seeing it in person will make you exclaim, "Wow, this is stunning!" The atmosphere is incredibly chill, with many people bringing picnic mats to relax, eat, and take photos. It's super relaxing.
The best part is how convenient the transportation is—you can take the Odakyu Line from Shinjuku and get there in no time, with only a short walk from the station. On-site, there's a small market selling food, local produce, and sunflower-themed souvenirs, giving it a charming local vibe.
The only downside is the crowd, so it's better to visit on a weekday or go early for better photo opportunities. Overall, it's one of the must-visit summer spots near Tokyo, especially for photography enthusiasts!
