🪷Xishuangbanna-Manting Park🪴
"An interesting life is half about mountains, rivers, lakes and seas."
✨Although the two years of the epidemic have not been easy, I have visited many cities in the country one after another, seen mountains and lakes, stars and the sea, and discovered that the beautiful rivers and mountains of the motherland, and the architectural design, are not inferior to those abroad!
❣️In the past two years, Xishuangbanna is definitely the most amazing city in China for me!
💜Whether it is the brightly lit Starry Night Market, the beautiful botanical garden, or the exotic Zongfo Temple and Manting Park, they all made me unforgettable for a long time after leaving Xishuangbanna.
☘️The Royal Garden of the King of Dai🎋
Manting Park was originally the royal garden of the Dai King, called "Chunhuan", which means "Soul Garden".
Manting Park is the oldest park in Xishuangbanna with a history of more than 1,300 years. It used to be the royal garden of the Dai King of Xishuangbanna. In the history of the Dai people, it was a place for feudal lords such as Zhaopianling and Tusi to enjoy the flowers.
Legend has it that when the Dai princess visited the park, the beautiful scenery attracted her.
The soul of the princess, so it is named Chunhuan Park, which means "Garden of the Soul" in Dai language❣️
Make an appointment online in advance. The photo studio is just opposite Manting Royal Garden.
After putting on your makeup at 9:00 in the morning, you can go in. Tickets are 40/person
⏰Recommended play time: 2 hours ~ 3.5 hours
🟠Enter the Dailue Pavilion on the left through the main gate, which is also the Dai King's Palace
🟡Walk along the path behind to the Imperial Garden (there is a lotus pond)
🟢Then go to the intersection of a big road. Go right to see the City Center Tower and the Royal Orchid Garden (the Royal Orchid Garden is very small and you can't see much in this season), but the City Center Tower is worth a visit. Go left to the Leaf Garden (now there is only bougainvillea).
🔵Walk down along the Leaf Garden and you will reach the lake...
The red brick castle by the lake (you can navigate to the Red Box Fengwu Pavilion) is actually a coffee shop and gift shop. You can sit down and rest. Opposite is a pavilion with gauze curtains that is very good for taking photos.
🟤Go along the lake, cross the bridge, turn right, then turn left and go uphill, and you will reach the White Pagoda and the Earth Goddess Washbasin! This is the last attraction. After playing, you can go to the Zongfo Temple🥰🥰
⚠️
🔺Sisters who are afraid of crowds can choose to play in the opposite direction. Enter from the south gate of Zongfo Temple and go to Manting after playing (there are fewer people in the morning). After 9:30, the flow of people comes up. After entering Manting, go to take pictures of the Red Pagoda and the White Pagoda first. Otherwise, these are the two most crowded attractions after 10:30. There will be traffic jams at the entrance of Manting after 16:00❗️
🎫Ticket price: 40 RMB/person
