Loved it, loved it! This scenic area is incredibly beautiful

Yuntai Mountain, a national 5A-level scenic spot, combines the majestic northern landscapes with the elegant southern charm. It is recommended to enter the park at 7 AM and start your journey from Hongshi Gorge — "China's Number One Marvelous Gorge," featuring deep valleys, secluded streams, and red cliffs. The scenery changes with every step, and the whole route takes about 2 hours.

Take the park shuttle bus up to Zhuyu Peak (cable car optional), climb to the top to pray, and overlook the layers of green mountains. When the sea of clouds surges, it feels like being in a fairyland. At the foot of the peak, visit the Medicine King Cave to experience the legend of Sun Simiao’s hermitage.

In the afternoon, explore Tanpu Gorge, enjoy the spring waterfalls, Water Curtain Cave, and Yazi Waterfall, refreshing and soothing; you can also visit Monkey Valley to watch wild monkeys playing (please do not feed them).

✅ Ticket ¥120 (including transportation), be sure to bring comfortable shoes and sun protection. About 1.5 hours by car from Zhengzhou/Jiaozuo, or take the high-speed train to Jiaozuo Station and transfer to the tourist shuttle.

See the gorge, peak forest, and waterfalls all in one day, fully enjoy the essence of the Taihang Mountains, living up to the title "Crown of Central Plains Scenery."
