When you visit Xuzhou, Jiangsu, you must visit the Xuzhou Han Culture Scenic Area. It was also an important part of my trip to Xuzhou, and it was definitely worth it.
📍Detailed address:
Xuzhou Han Culture Scenic Area is not far from the city center. You can take a taxi or take Metro Line 1 to get there. If you take the metro, you will need to walk for more than ten minutes. The scenic area is relatively large, so it is recommended to enter from the east gate and start your visit. This way, the whole trip will be very smooth.
👍Most recommended:
If you enter from the east gate, you will see a huge statue of Liu Bang and a sculpture of major events in the Han Dynasty, which is very impressive.
After entering, it is recommended to visit the Lion Mountain Tomb of the King of Chu, Han Terracotta Warriors Museum, Underwater Terracotta Warriors Museum, Han Painting Gallery, Xuzhou Han Stone Painting Decoding Experience Hall, and Bamboo Forest Temple Archway in the following order, which will take about 4 hours.
🌟Highlights:
You don't need to buy a ticket to visit the scenic area, but you need to buy a joint ticket to visit the above exhibition halls. In addition, you can basically see the three wonders of the Han Dynasty (Han tombs, Han terracotta warriors, and Han stone paintings) here, which is very valuable.
📝Tips:
You can take a tour bus between each exhibition hall, as it is a bit of a walk. In addition, since the whole scenic area takes a long time to visit, and there are basically no formal restaurants in the scenic area, it is best to bring some food with you.
