This shrine is located in a quiet residential area.
There is a parking lot at the end of a small alleyway that cars can enter.
There is a large torii gate and a staircase along the street,
and once you reach the top, the shrine grounds will appear.

The many guardian lions lined up are a spectacular sight.

In September of the year of Koushin in 1680 (8th year of Enpo), a branch shrine of the main shrine of Takami Shrine (Ano, Yahatanishi-ku) was established at its current location,
and the shrine, offering hall, and worship hall have been built and repaired, and the grounds have been maintained by many parishioners,
as the guardian deity of the Nagainumaru area.

Since ancient times, the shrine has been visited by many pilgrims from near and far as a god of protection from evil, good fortune, safety in the home, prosperity in business, and matchmaking, as well as marital harmony, safety, and learning. It is well-known as a "guardian deity," and holds four festivals a year (New Year's Day Festival, Summer Solstice Festival, Hojoe Festival, and Omiya Day Festival).
