Yamagata Zao｜Ōmiya Ryokan A Japanese hot spring hotel that soaks in the snow

☁️Transportation:
🚗We arrived by charter car and have our own parking lot. There is a small uphill slope at the entrance of the hotel in the parking lot. It is a little slippery when it snows, so be careful!
🚌If you take the bus, the hotel is five minutes away from the bus station, but it is uphill, so be careful~
🚍There is a shuttle bus from Yamagata Station to the hotel. You can check it on the official website. You need to make an appointment 3 days in advance!

☁️Hotel facilities: Tatami in the whole room! When checking in, they also helped to wipe the feet of the suitcases. You have to take off your shoes as soon as you enter the hotel~ Japanese hotels are very clean and flawless!

There are not many rooms but there is no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up (the hotel staff will help you carry it, but he can only carry one at most haha! You have to carry it yourself when you check out🤣 The route is a bit complicated, like a maze, but it's quite interesting! There is also a public space on the second floor where you can eat and drink!

☁️Service: The staff at the counter don't speak English very well, so communication is a bit difficult, and it can even be said that they are very confused... You may need to prepare a translator! It is also best to confirm the reservation items (such as shuttle buses) again and again!

☁️Facilities: There is only a toilet and no bathroom in the room, but there is a 24-hour large bath! The bathhouse is not big but the facilities are complete, and there are not many people in the hotel, so it is easy to wash without being crowded~

☁️Meals: The breakfast is Japanese! It is about once every 3 days~ It's quite exquisite!

You can use it at the sales department next to the counter (Figure 7). There are many snacks limited to Zao at the sales department, and the price is very reasonable! It is a discount coupon and there is no minimum consumption. It is great to buy it and put it directly upstairs in the suitcase!

☁️Skiing: It takes about 5-7 minutes to walk to the Uminodai Cable Car Station, which is super convenient! There is also a drying room for ski equipment next to the shoe cabinet in the hotel!

When I first checked in, I made an appointment with the counter for the shuttle bus, but the counter told me that our appointment was not registered on the day! ! I was a little speechless, but fortunately I still got on after communicating! So everyone must confirm again and again!
