Lake Yamanaka in midwinter

One of the components of the Fuji Five Lakes World Heritage Site. At the edge of the lake, on the Gotemba side, is Lake Yamanaka. It feels like it has become a more touristy destination than the other lakes, with many hotels and villas. The view of Mt. Fuji from Lake Yamanaka is truly magnificent, perhaps because there is nothing blocking the view at the base.
