#springitinerary Oshino Hakkai is one of those places that feels like a peaceful little postcard come to life, especially in spring. It’s a small village with eight crystal-clear ponds fed by snowmelt from Mt. Fuji, and the water is insanely clear.
You can literally see every stone and fish swimming by. Spring brings blooming cherry blossoms and fresh greenery that make the whole area feel super serene and photogenic. The traditional thatched-roof houses and cute shops selling snacks and souvenirs add to the cozy vibe. Try some fresh wasabi or crispy fried snacks by the water while soaking in the view of Mt. Fuji in the background (on a clear day, it’s unreal). It’s not a big place, but it’s perfect for a relaxing half-day trip. Bring your camera, slow down, and just enjoy the chill, nature-filled atmosphere. Total spring energy reset.
