A bathtub like a Roman fountain ♨️ Kanaguya's Romantic Bath

Introducing the Romantic Bath at Kanaguya, a Historic Inn!

Kanaguya's large public bath,
Kamakura Bath and Romantic Bath each have one tub,
so men and women alternate bathing.

~~~~~~~
🕰️Bath Hours
~~~~~~
Women: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Men: 12:00 AM - 10:00 AM

This bath, built in 1950,
features a charming round arch frame and stained glass. ✨
The light filtering through the stained glass made the water sparkle beautifully...!!

Because it's a natural hot spring, the water is quite hot, around 43-44 degrees Celsius,
which can be a challenge to soak in,
but once you've soaked, your body adapts and you can stay in for a long time. 🫶

Like the Kamakura Bath, this is one of Kanaguya's most popular baths,
so it's often crowded! It's usually empty right after check-in or before check-out.
(There was no one there right after check-in, but in the evening and at night, there were 5-6 people there, and there was a line for the showers. 😂)
