Travel to Shangri-La and see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

Lijiang is undoubtedly one of the highlights of your Yunnan trip. If you're planning a trip, plan your trip well in advance, as the weather changes daily. October is typically clear and not too cold. We recommend heading up early and packing warm clothing, as it can get really cold. Once you reach the summit, the air is very thin, so you'll need to walk slowly or you'll tire easily. After admiring Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, descend to Blue Moon Valley, where yaks are waiting to take photos as souvenirs. Couples lined the road for pre-wedding photos, and the view is simply breathtaking. You really have to see it for yourself, as it's simply too beautiful to describe. In the afternoon, there's an Impression Lijiang show, performed by local farmers and gardeners. The show tells the story of the people of Lijiang, and it's absolutely spectacular.
