Recently, at Shaanxi Huayang Scenic Area, Qinling giant panda "Qinhua" put on an amusing show. It first sat quietly on a bamboo chair eating carrots, then started a "chair dismantling operation," eating the bamboo chair parts as food. Its adorable appearance was very eye-catching. Huayang Scenic Area is located in Huayang Ancient Town, which has a rich historical heritage. It originated during the Qin and Jin periods and has been the first shortcut from southern Shaanxi to the Guanzhong region since the Han and Tang dynasties. It was also an important ancient military stronghold and a key economic and political town. The ancient town preserves well the Ming and Qing dynasty architecture, with remnants of the ancient Huayang County city wall still faintly visible. The ancient pagodas and opera houses from the Song and Yuan periods have unique styles, and various types of ancient buildings are all present. Along the approximately 600-meter-long old street, there are over 300 Ming and Qing buildings with minimal interior damage, featuring "pocket-style" houses with back doors. Behind the ancient town is the confluence of two rivers, where residents wash clothes and vegetables, showcasing the customs of a water town. Visiting Huayang Scenic Area allows you to encounter the cute moments of "Qinhua" and experience the unique charm of the ancient town, bringing you plenty of surprises and joy. Come check it out!
