The Secretariat, a beautiful historical building in Myanmar

📍The Secretariat: Thein Phyu Road, Middle Block, Yangon, Myanmar (Burma)
🎟️9:00~17:00
🕖Admission fee: $10 for adults (15,000 kyat) including guide

📝It is a historical building built in Victorian style in 1905 during the British colonial period, and it is said to have been used as the center of British administration during the British colonial period. It is a very historical place. It is currently under restoration, so it has not been perfectly recreated.

It is also said to be the place where the Myanmar National Assembly was first held, and it is also the place where I first learned about General Aung San being assassinated.

✅There are cafes and restaurants inside

✅There are sometimes flea markets, and if you go during that time, you can see a more lively Secretariat.
