Botahtaung Pagoda, a sacred place in Burma!

Botahtaung Pagoda, also known as Botahtaung Pagoda, meaning "1,000 Soldiers", is a famous pagoda located in the heart of Yangon, Myanmar, near the Yangon River. The pagoda was first built by the Mon people around the same time as the Shwedagon Pagoda, and is known by the Mon name Kyaik-de-att (Kyaik-de-att) in local belief. The hollow pagoda inside Botahtaung Pagoda is another important sacred site in Myanmar, as it was once used as a temporary enshrining site for a hair relic of the Buddha. Botahtaung Pagoda was destroyed during World War II and was rebuilt after the war. #VisitMyanmar #Pagoda #Myanmar #SacredThings
