Kandawgyi lake in Yangon

Kandawgyi Lake is a nice place to go in Yangon. The boardwalks are long and wide, and there are several good spots for a picnic.
It's a beautiful lake with a more than 6000 m long wooden bridge, constructed around it. The park on the northern side allows for some great pagoda views.
There are many things to do around the lake area, including a plant nursery area, going for a walk around the lake, trying the food at one of the many restaurants around the lake.

Note: Take an umbrella with you if the weather is hot - that's also what the locals do to protect themselves from getting too much sun.
