Yangpyeong Semiwon Lotus Review: The Beauty of Lotus Flowers That Cleanses the Soul!

In mid-July, I finally visited Yangpyeong Semiwon! Despite the hot weather, I was determined to see the lotus flowers in person, and it turned out to be a decision I didn’t regret at all. The 7,000 KRW entrance fee was absolutely worth it. 💖

From the entrance, lush green lotus leaves stretched out before me, with elegant white lotus flowers and charming pink lotuses blooming gracefully among them, capturing my attention. 🥹 Just like the festival theme, 'Lotus Flowers, Captured in My Heart,' seeing the lotus flowers filling the pond made me feel as if my heart was being purified.

The walking paths were well-maintained, making the entire stroll a healing experience. 🚶♀️ Especially since lotus flowers bloom fully in the morning and close their petals in the afternoon, I recommend visiting early in the day! Also, they sell lotus leaf ice cream along the way, which has a bittersweet yet sweet flavor that helps you forget the summer heat. 🍦 If you plan your trip to include a visit to the nearby Dumulmeori, it’ll make for a perfect day trip! 👍
