Epic View of Guilin from Xianggong Mountain

Hike up Xianggong Mountain and you will be rewarded with epic views of the Li River and the surrounding mountains of Guilin. Located just 10km away from Xingping Old Town, this mountain is popular for catching the sunrise. If you can wake up early and reach there at 5am in the morning, you can begin your hike up in time to catch the beautiful sunrise. With the morning clouds drifting among the mountains, it’s nothing short of a magical view especially on a clear day.

This hike is a mere 15-20mins, and its mostly stairs climbing. There’s an entrance fee of CNY60 and it’s open all day. You can rent a car from Yangshuo to Xianggong Mountain and a round trip will cost you about CNY300. Or if you are staying nearby, you can check with your hotel if they have any transportation service that can take you there.
