Ruyifeng: The Peak of Fulfillment

After finishing a morning boat ride along the Li River in Yangshuo, I felt like continuing my adventure by climbing a mountain. My destination was Ruyifeng, located about 40 kilometers away. I booked a taxi via Didi to reach Ruyifeng Mountain, eager to witness the stunning, intricate mountain ranges of Guilin stretching as far as the eye can see. The roads were modern and convenient, making the journey quick—less than 30 minutes. Ruyifeng, also known as the Avatar Mountain of Guilin, is situated in Yangshuo and has become a popular new tourist attraction. Upon arrival, I decided to take the cable car up due to the hot weather and strong sunlight. The round-trip ticket, including the entrance fee, cost around 900 baht. The cable car ride was steep and covered a considerable distance. Once at the top, I was amazed by the breathtaking views. The summit features beautiful walkways, including a glass bridge, offering panoramic vistas. Visiting Ruyifeng was undoubtedly a great decision—impressive, worthwhile, and excellent value for money.
