Yangshuo: Where Bronze Heroes Meet Mountain Views ✊🗽

#hellohalloween

Hidden among the trees and peaks of Yangshuo Park, I stumbled into a quiet corner filled with copper and socialist-era statues — proud workers, determined soldiers, and figures that look straight out of mid-20th-century propaganda posters.

Their strong poses and serious expressions create such an interesting contrast with the laid-back vibe of Yangshuo’s nature and tourist buzz. One moment you’re spotting stone ducks, and the next — you’re face-to-face with history captured in bronze.

What I loved most? The way the karst mountains rise behind them — it feels like they’re永远守护 (eternally standing guard) over the town. 🇨🇳⛰️

📍 Yangshuo City Park – take the side paths deeper into the greenery
🎯 Good stop for photography + a quick dive into China’s modern memory
⏱️ Allow 20–30 min as part of a relaxed park stroll

Yangshuo isn’t just nature postcards — sometimes it tells a more serious, fascinating story too.
