During my wanderings through the countryside of Yangshuo, I decided to take a small break in Zhudouzhai Village — a peaceful spot surrounded by green rice fields and karst hills. Sitting on a stone bench under a bamboo tree, I could hear only the soft rustle of leaves and distant laughter from the villagers.

There was something incredibly calming about this place. No rush, no noise — just simple rural life and beautiful scenery all around. Sometimes, it’s these quiet pauses in tiny villages that leave the biggest impressions.
