Yangyang Naksansa Temple, where you can see both the sea and the mountains
It is the most famous tourist attraction in Yangyang, Gangwon-do,
and has many relics as it has a long history
Naksansa Temple in Yangyang, Gangwon-do
was built in 617 during the 11th year of King Munmu of Silla
It was destroyed during the Korean War but was rebuilt,
and most of the buildings were destroyed in a large-scale forest fire in 2005,
but it was restored.
Since the East Sea and Naksan (Obongsan) are adjacent,
you can enjoy the sea and the cold at the same time,
and since it is located in a high place, it seems like it would be good for the sunrise!
In particular, the most famous one is
the Haesu Gwaneum statue that can be seen from afar!
It was a white, long Buddha statue at the end of the temple
and it was said to be 16m tall
