A Remedy to the Cold: Huadu Hotspring

The winter months can get a little chilly in Henan, with temperatures below zero, however a place I always like to visit whilst I’m here is Huadu Hot-spring resort.

Huadu has so many pools of different temperatures and different skin treatments (tea, rose, Chinese herbal medicine, even a fish therapy pool!) as well as an indoor splash zone for the kids. I much prefer this place to the alternative Huaxi, which is better in the summer with large pools and water slides, but a little lacking in the cold.
