The only hotel I've stayed at three times for business trips in Yantai!

Seaside Getaway | DoubleTree by Hilton Yantai Golden Coast Hotel & Suites

📍Location & Transportation:
The hotel is located at No. 15 Ningbo Road, Fushan District, Yantai, a bit far from downtown. Public transport isn't very convenient, making it more suitable for those driving or taking taxis. Free underground parking is available, keeping you dry on rainy days. The other Hilton Golden Coast has a better location—just cross the street to reach the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sea.

🏘️Room Type/Layout:
This time, I stayed in a Deluxe Sea View Suite (52㎡). The room felt compact despite the stated size, with limited natural light. Both the living room and bedroom had TVs, and the layout was practical for extended stays. The other Hilton Golden Coast features standard, classic Hilton-style rooms—nothing extraordinary.

🛌Amenities/Facilities:
- The newly opened DoubleTree has modern, well-equipped facilities with no noticeable wear. It includes electric curtains, window screens, a washing machine, and a bathtub, catering to diverse needs.
- The other Hilton Golden Coast, over a decade old, has clean and tidy rooms, though its hardware isn’t as up-to-date.

🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness:
The new DoubleTree maintains excellent hygiene with pristine facilities. The Hilton Golden Coast is generally clean, though the sofa by the bed had stubborn stains.

🍽️Dining:
- DoubleTree’s welcome cookies, stored warm, were fragrant and delicious. A package deal included a seafood buffet dinner for two at Hilton Golden Coast, where staff were attentive and proactive. Breakfast was average, with a somewhat crowded dining area and limited dishes.
- Hilton Golden Coast’s dining aligns with its positioning, meeting basic expectations.

💁Service:
- The new DoubleTree staff were friendly, though there was a minor hiccup at check-in regarding an expired package, and another guest had a small dispute—likely due to the hotel’s recent opening.
- Hilton Golden Coast offered thoughtful service, upgrading rooms pre-arrival and handling check-ins efficiently, with prompt responses to requests.

💗Other Tips:
- The new DoubleTree is ideal for road trips, with nearby attractions like Chateau Changyu Castel. Its signature cookies are a must-try.
- Hilton Golden Coast boasts prime sea views from higher floors, perfect for ocean lovers, plus convenient transport options.
- Both Hiltons in Yantai have unique strengths: choose DoubleTree for modern amenities and extended stays, or Hilton Golden Coast for sea views and convenience.

Overall, both Hilton properties in Yantai excel in different ways, catering to varied traveler needs and enhancing your Yantai experience.
