Owl Hill in Yeongnam-dong, Hongdae, where you can eat Korean food and drink traditional wine is super chill. If you want to experience the real Korean daily life of having a drink after get off work, you must come to this super popular Korean pub in Yeongnam-dong, Hongdae - Owl Hill (부엉이산장연남점)!


Just the sight of the wooden signs hanging at the door is enough to instantly transport you into a Korean drama scene. The atmosphere is so full that you'll be amazed the moment you walk into the store - a whole real tree trunk goes from the floor through the ceiling, straight through the three-story old house! You can fully feel the power of the fusion of nature and architecture, as if you were walking into a forest bar. Each floor retains the warmth of the wooden structure and is full of stories.

The Korean cuisine in the store combines traditional techniques with modern tastes, and is paired with a variety of traditional Korean wines. Don't worry if you can't read Chinese. The ordering machine here has Chinese subtitles.

✨My favorite is their Korean side dishes with modern flavors, such as the barbecue platter tofu series, even the side dishes are delicious!
The restaurant opens at 11:30am on weekends and closes at 00:30pm, making it a great place for night owls to have a late-night snack and chat to relax.

👉It is recommended to book a seat in advance! There were a lot of people dining in the evening, and after dinner you could take a bottle of wine away, which was a surprise!

▪️The atmosphere in this area is great at night. After eating, you can take a walk back to Hongdae Night Market or go to a hipster cafe to continue your meal.
