You don’t have to go far to witness breathtaking natural beauty—Yishui Lake is hands-down one of the most beautiful spots near Beijing. Featured in the movie Red Cliff, it’s often called the “Guilin of the North” for its emerald waters, steep cliffs, and surreal landscapes.
The best part? The cliffside viewing walkway—every step gives you a new postcard-worthy view. Overlooking the lake and surrounding peaks feels like walking through a Chinese ink painting. It’s peaceful, dramatic, and insanely photogenic.
🗺️ Location: Yishui Lake Scenic Area, Yi County, Baoding, Hebei
🚗 Travel Time: About 1.5 hours’ drive from Beijing
💰 Entry Fee: ~¥80 (subject to change by season)
📸 Tip: Go early to avoid the crowds and wear comfy walking shoes for both hiking and snapping pictures!
