This small village next to Hongcun holds the strongest autumn vibe in southern Anhui! Rice fields and white walls with black tiles intertwine, and from the viewing platform, the village spreads out like an oil painting. It’s recommended to come early in the morning; the misty morning scene is super magical~

🚂Second stop: Arxan Station
Check in at the most romantic train station in Inner Mongolia! The retro Japanese-style building is surrounded by golden larch trees, and the platform tracks are perfect for artistic photos. It’s best to come around 3-4 pm when the sunlight slants, creating a cinematic feel.

🍁Third stop: Benxi Red Leaf Avenue
Just a 40-minute bus ride from Benxi Station! The maple leaves on Guanmenshan are as red as fiery clouds, and the streams in Laobiangou reflect the colorful forest, making it super dreamy. Be sure to wear bright clothes; standing in the red leaf forest, you’ll be the most dazzling star!

A visual feast of autumn drying! Red chili peppers and yellow corn cover the entire ancient village, paired with horse-head walls, making it extremely photogenic. It’s recommended to go up the mountain after 4 pm to capture the panoramic view of autumn drying under the sunset. Staying overnight on the mountaintop lets you see a stunning starry sky.

💡Useful tips:
1. Wear comfortable shoes for Tachuan and Huangling, as the villages have stone slab roads
2. Arxan has a big temperature difference, remember to bring a thick jacket
3. Benxi Red Leaf Festival is crowded, weekdays are recommended
4. Huangling’s autumn drying lasts until the end of November; the later you go, the richer the colors get
