Three Gorges Family, truly amazing once you go! A live version of a landscape painting!

Sisters, I just got back from Three Gorges Family in Yichang and can't wait to recommend it to you! This place is absolutely stunning; every snapshot looks like a masterpiece of mountains and rivers, and a nine-grid post on social media is just not enough!

🚢 Transportation and First Impressions
You need to take a boat to enter the scenic area. The river breeze instantly cools the summer heat! The water is a jade green, with layers of green mountains on both sides. I was already saying "Wow" as soon as I got on the boat.

šŸ‘€ Highlights and Experiences
After getting off the boat, head straight to Longjin Creek for a truly immersive experience! The creek water is emerald green, with black-awning boats quietly moored. Tujia girls dressed in red stand at the bow, creating an amazing atmosphere! There are also wild monkeys in the forest, but be sure to watch your snacks—they are experts at "road robbery." Don’t miss the Tujia wedding performance; when the suona horn sounds and the red silk waves, the bride’s crying song is both touching and funny. The interaction is strong, and you might even catch the embroidered ball!

Next, visit Bawang Village, which requires some hiking (or you can pay extra for a cable car or escalator). The view from the mountaintop is very expansive, with a distant view of the famous Mingyue Bay. The village is built on the mountainside with stilted buildings. There are old craftsmen forging iron, and you can enjoy exciting shadow puppetry and Nanqu opera, instantly feeling like you’ve traveled back in time.

šŸ’” Travel Tips

1. The scenic area is large, so comfortable shoes are a must-have.
2. To explore deeply, arrive early and reserve about 5 hours.
3. Sunny days are better for photos, but walking in the canyon can get hot, so remember sun protection and heat prevention.

This place really broke my stereotypes about 5A scenic spots, with both natural beauty and cultural atmosphere on point. Don’t know where to go on weekends or short holidays? Head straight to Three Gorges Family, and I guarantee you’ll be recommending it to everyone when you get back!

(Warm tip: Driving navigation to "Wangjiaping Tourist Transfer Center" is the most reliable. Signal in the mountains can be unstable, so check your route in advance!)
