The Lanyang Museum is located in Wushi Port District, Toucheng Town, Yilan County. It took 18 years from preparation, construction to opening, and was officially opened in October 2010!

The theme unit of the permanent exhibition of the Lanyang Museum is planned as a 4-story design according to the logic of building floors and altitudes. It is divided into: "Mountain Layer", "Plain Layer", "Sea Layer", and "Time Corridor". It takes Yilan's rainwater as the main axis to showcase Yilan's natural assets, human life and culture!
