A Trail Suitable for All Ages: Linmei Shipan Trail in Jiaoxi, Yilan

Linmei Shipan Trail in Jiaoxi, Yilan, gets its name from 'Linmei Village' and 'Shipan Waterfall.' The trail is 1.7 kilometers long, forming a loop that is easy to walk. Along the way, you can enjoy rich scenery, clear waterfalls, and the undulating terrain of the gorge.

The Linmei Shipan Trail is part of the Xueshan Mountain Range, with gentle slopes that are easy to walk. It serves as the watershed between New Taipei and Yilan. Starting from the Caonan Lake Trail, it takes about 2 hours to complete. The trail is lush with moss, ferns, and trees, making it very green and cool.

Near the Linmei Shipan Trail, there is a famous internet celebrity spot located on the Shengmu Mountain Villa Trail in the Wufengqi Waterfall Scenic Area, also known as the popular 'Matcha Mountain.' However, the round trip to Matcha Mountain takes 5 hours, so do not attempt it without preparation.
