This is a well-known American international hotel chain brand, Westin Hotels & Resorts. The appearance is very similar to the hotel I stayed in Sabah, Malaysia, and has a Southeast Asian flavor. In fact, I've stayed in this chain hotel abroad and it felt pretty good. Currently, this hotel chain has one restaurant in Daxi and one in Yilan, but the prices are not too cheap. Since the opening of the Snow Tunnel, consortiums and investors have already speculated on the land in Yilan. Hotels and B&Bs have sprung up everywhere, competing for size, luxury and grandeur. The hotel may have their reasons for choosing a more remote location, but there are many attractions in Yuanshan Township and no branded hotels other than B&Bs. Perhaps this is why the group chose this place in the first place! (20210814)
