This weekend, I finally escaped the hustle and bustle of the city and embarked on a spontaneous trip to Yinchuan, Ningxia, and Wuhai! In just two days, I was filled with surprises and inspiration, and I can't wait to share it with you!

Day 1: Wuhai Lake, Encountering the Gentleness of the "Pearl beyond the Great Wall"

Departing from Yinchuan in the morning and heading north, I arrived in Wuhai at noon. Eagerly, I rushed to Wuhai Lake. From afar, the lake's surface was like a mirror, reflecting the sky, resembling a dazzling pearl inlaid in the vast Gobi Desert.

Driving an off-road vehicle across the desert and gazing at the frozen Yellow River, a sense of desolation arose spontaneously.

Vivid rock paintings depict the life scenes and religious beliefs of the ancient people, evoking admiration for their wisdom and artistic achievements.

In the afternoon, I visited the Western Xia Tombs, exploring the mysteries of the Western Xia Dynasty. Towering tombs narrate the dynasty's past glory and decline. Strolling through the tomb complex, I could almost hear the echoes of history and feel the long-lost past.
