Second Visit to the Celestial Cave

The Celestial Cave, located in Jiulong Town, Yingde, is renowned as the "Number One Pit in South China." It is a popular tourist destination in Qingyuan. Formed by karst topography, the site features a massive skylight-like sinkhole above, a deep pit cave within, and a river flowing below.

As the sightseeing boat glides gently into the cave, visitors are greeted by stunning formations of rocks, stalactites, waterfalls, and lush greenery shaped by the passage of time.

During my first visit, I was overwhelmed by the awe-inspiring natural wonders and focused solely on taking photos, leaving little time to truly savor the experience. This second visit allowed me to slowly appreciate the beauty of the sinkhole landscape. Time seems to stand still here, with billions of years of history condensed before your eyes.

It is absolutely worth revisiting again and again.
