Many people miss this free ancient town when they visit Yiwu
It's really worth a visit!
Fotang Ancient Town, an unexpected trip
I visited Yiwu on the eighth day of the lunar new year and found that many places, including the trade city, were closed
My friend said, "You can go to Fotang Ancient Town."
I thought I might as well visit since I was already there, and I was completely amazed
-
I later found out that this is one of the four major ancient towns in Zhejiang
It is known as the "Millennium Ancient Town, Qingfeng Commercial Port, and Buddhist Holy Land"
The New Year atmosphere here is also very strong
The ancient town at night is beautifully decorated with lanterns

✔️Xinshiji:
The entrance to the ancient town, with an 800-year-old camphor tree
✔️Fuhu Bridge:
A unique ancient bridge with boat-shaped structures on both sides
✔️Fotang Old Street:
2 km long, preserving the architectural style of the Ming and Qing dynasties, with old shops, teahouses, and taverns along the street. There are also many traditional snacks and intangible cultural heritage foods
✔️Ancient Residential Courtyard:
In addition to the bustling ancient street, you can also explore the quiet alleys of ancient residences, wandering among various Hui-style ancient houses and experiencing the simplicity of the town
✔️Puchuan Water Street:
Built along the creek, there are not many shops here, so it's very comfortable to walk around, wandering among the beautiful bridges and flowing water of Jiangnan. During the New Year, there are also lanterns, creating a great atmosphere
✔️Light Show:
The introduction said it was from 19:00 to 20:30, but I saw the lights on at 18:00 that day, probably because it was during the first lunar month. The location to watch the light show is Wanlan Pavilion
