Yixing | The Great Awakening Temple, known as the Little Potala Palace

🌈Yixing Great Awakening Temple, originally built during the Xianchun period of the Southern Song Dynasty (1265-1274), has a history of over seven hundred years and is also the ancestral temple where Master Hsing Yun of Fo Guang Shan was ordained. In 2005, with all conditions met, the 48th generation disciple and founder of Fo Guang Shan, Master Hsing Yun, rebuilt the ancestral temple of Fo Guang Shan, the Great Awakening Temple. Since Master Hsing Yun served as the abbot here, it is also known as the "Ancestral Temple of Fo Guang Shan Great Awakening Temple".

📍Located on the east side of Yunhu Lake in Yixing City, southwest of Wuxi, Jiangsu, it is surrounded by mountains and water, with beautiful scenery that is refreshing and forms a unique regional landscape.
