Daxian Peak, located in Xushan Village, Pingshan Township, Datian County, covers a total area of ​​6,893 hectares, including an 1,848-hectare core area. The area primarily protects species of plants and animals under first and second-class national protection. The temple was destroyed by a mountain flood in 1959, leaving only the ruins. In early 2003, Datian Daxian Peak was designated a provincial nature reserve.
