[Yokohama] A classic hotel with a beautiful view of the fireworks

Hotel New Grand is located in front of Yamashita Park in Yokohama. It opened in 1927 and is known for having been the home of famous people such as General MacArthur and comedian Charlie Chaplin. It is also famous as the birthplace of seafood doria, spaghetti napolitan, and pudding a la mode! The atmosphere is elegant and the rooms overlook Yokohama Port. Actually, the day I stayed there was the day of the fireworks festival, so I was worried about whether I would be able to see it from my room, but I could see it perfectly. For breakfast, I had a highly acclaimed omelette, and I walked around the park both in the morning and at night, making it a wonderful hotel stay.
