A Monet Garden in Reality: Yokohama's Satoyama Garden 🌸🌿

#cherryblossom25
Every spring, Yokohama becomes a haven for flower lovers during its annual Garden Necklace Yokohama event. From late March to early May, the Satoyama Garden transforms into a stunning, vibrant display of colors that feels like stepping into a real-life Monet painting. The garden’s centerpiece—a vast 10,000m² slope—is adorned with a mesmerizing flower carpet, featuring a mix of bulbs like tulips, hyacinths, and other springtime blossoms.

The natural elevation of the slope creates a visual delight, offering different perspectives as you wander through its charming pathways. It’s like walking through a living work of art, where each section of the flower carpet seems to tell its own story, with colorful layers blending seamlessly into one another.

The springtime allure is simply irresistible, with over 300,000 flowers carefully arranged to form a breathtaking tapestry. The flowers’ soft hues and textures bring a sense of tranquility, as if you were lost in an animated world, where colors dance and flowers bloom in perfect harmony.

While spring brings a burst of vibrant blossoms, the garden also has an autumn charm with the addition of heat-tolerant flowers like Persian daisies, sage, and zinnias, complemented by the rich red and orange leaves of fall. This stunning mix of flowers and foliage creates a natural, serene atmosphere that evolves with the seasons.
