Mango Afternoon Tea at THE UNION BAR & LOUNGE, Yokohama

I attended the afternoon tea at Hyatt Regency Yokohama. This season is all about mangoes! After the strawberry season, summer flavors like mango, melon, and tropical fruits take center stage, and this venue has chosen mango as its theme. 🥭 🥭 🥭

I’ve previously experienced afternoon teas at other Hyatt Regency locations, such as Okinawa and Tokyo. Both places left a lasting impression with their delicious offerings, beautiful plating, and stunning visuals. The lounge interiors were also remarkable, and this venue evokes a similar vibe.

The afternoon tea menu here consists of eight mango-based sweets, including scones, and four savory items. A welcome drink of mango puree tea is served, and the tea selection features Ronnefeldt loose-leaf teas, adding depth to the experience. Guests can even enjoy a tea aroma sampling.

The staff explained the afternoon tea menu, highlighting that the mango sweets are crafted using a variety of mango types, including apple mango, imported mango, and Miyazaki mango. This thoughtful approach by the pastry chef ensures a diverse flavor profile, avoiding repetition.

Each mango dessert is sweet and fresh, making for a delightful experience. Once again, Hyatt Regency did not disappoint. The staff’s hospitality was excellent, and the hotel’s location, nestled between the sea and the train station, is convenient. Thank you!
